Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Turkey Day from the UK.
Believe it or not they don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here (I think it might even piss them off a little). Consequently I spent most of the day at work, but Yankee girl spent the day making a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
For those that miss our smiling faces, attached are some pictures. At the right I am cutting the turkey in preparation for the feast.
We just finished eating, and it was great. Yankee Girl cooked her first complete Thanksgiving meal including homemade noodles (my grandmothers would/should be proud). The meal was complemented with a bottle of champagne from the French woman's garage (see previous post about France). It will be topped off with square pumpkin pie (we didn't find a pie pan) once I can breath again. You can also see evidence of the square pie in the p
icture. In the other picture you not only get to see YGs pretty face, you can see proof of the noodles (can you tell I am proud of YG). With all of the food, we will be eating Thanksgiving food all weekend.
And, since there isn't any American Football on to watch over here, you get the pleasure of a blog post from me.
Well I think that my turkey and champagne are starting to kick in, so it's time for the couch.

We sure miss Yankee Girl's homemade pumpkin pies! We wouldn't care if it was square :)

Happy T-Day to you guys. Hope you enjoyed your square pie and special Thanksgiving noodles(?). I agree with you Dan, Hooters to go is just stupid ... the "ambience" is what makes Hooters, hooters. The only thing more stupid would be to eat in there blindfolded.
